Biography

Alina Tkachuk was born in 1989 in the city of Mykolaiv. She gained her master's degree and a postgraduate degree at the Odesa National Academy of Music named after A.V. Nezhdanova, majoring in solo singing (Prof. Honored Artist of Ukraine A.V. Dzhamagortsyan).
 
Since 2018 Alina works at Odesa National Academic Theater of Opera and Ballet, were her repertoire includes Gilda (Rigoletto), Rosina (Il barbiere di Siviglia), Leyla (Les Pecheurs di Perles), Adina (L‘elisir d‘amore), Eurydice (Orfeo ed Euridice), Donna Elvira (Don Giovanni), Nedda (Pagliacci), Serpina (La serva padrona by Pergolesi), Mikaela (Carmen), Liu (Turandot), Musetta (La boheme), Oksana (Zaporozhets by the Danube by S. Hulak-Artemovsky), Anina (La traviata).
 
Her future engagements include Lucia (Lucia di Lammermoor), Manon (Massenet‘s Manon), Norina (Don Pasquale), Violetta (La traviata). 
 
During 2023 she had performed a solo concert with Spanish conductor Sergio Alapont in Portugal and had her Gilda debut at the Odesa National Theater of Opera and Ballet. She had the Tbilisi Opera and Ballet Theatre debut with the same role. She also had a tour with the Odessa National Opera performing Orff‘s Carmina Buranai in Netherlands and got the best reviews for the Gilda‘s role in Opera på Skäret Festival in Sweden.  
 
The year 2022 was marked with Alina‘s performances in France – Nedda (Pagliacci, Massey Opera), Germany – Micaela (Carmen, Neustrelitz State Theatre), Ukraine – Rosina (Il barbiere di Siviglia, Odessa National Opera). She participate in many charity concerts to help Ukraine in Germany and Portugal. She also worked in Regio Theatre in Turin and Georgian National Theatre of Opera an Ballet in Tbilisi (Carmina Burana) and performed Musetta (La boheme) in the German State Theatre in Cottbus.
 
Among her previous engagements are tours to China with the National Symphony Orchestra of Ukraine (conductor Niccolo Giuliani) and to Belgium and Netherlands with the ensemble of the Odesa National Theater of Opera and Ballet (Carmina Burana by Carl Orff) in 2021. In 2016-2018 she took part in concerts and performances of the Charity Theater Opera Vo Blago. In 2017, she became a soloist of the New Generation Theater, where she performed music by G. Rossini and G. Gershwin.
 
As a concert soloist she has performed Carmina Burana by C. Orff, Stabat Mater by G.B. Pergolesi, Coronation Mass by W.A. Mozart.
 
Alina has participated and bacame a semi-finalist of several international vocal competitions, including the Second CLIP Vocal Competition in Portofino (Italy), the Thirteenth Ricardo Zandonai International Vocal Competition in Riva del Garda (Italy), the Otto Edelman International Opera Singing Competition in Vienna (Austria) and the First International Opera Singing Competition at the Tbilisi Opera House Opera Crown.
 
She took an active part in the master class of Luciana D'Intino and Beatrice Benzi (coach of the La Scala theater) specializing in vocal technique, after which she received favorable reviews and a letter of recommendation from the La Scala theater, Italy.
