Lilla Lee is South Korean Soprano. She graduated from the Milan Conservatory and the same year attended the Formation and Improvers course at the Arturo Toscanini Academy of Singing in Parma. She graduated a superior vocal course from the Novara conservatory and attended the Formation and Improvers course at the academy of Orazio Vecchi in Modena.
Among her recent engagements are role as Abigaille in Nabucco at State theatre in Prague, Odabella in Attila in Seoul Arts Center, role debut as Maddalena in Andrea Chénier at Daegu Opera House, Turandot in Turandot at Teatro Sociale di Ferrara in Italy and SeJong ArtCenter in Seoul. Turandot and Madama Butterfly in Sofia Opera and Ballet in Bulgaria.
Upcoming performances of 2024/25 season include the role of Abigaille in Nabucco in State Theatre Prague.
In 2008 she made her debut as Turandot at Opera Lombardia and appeared in this role on many other stages like Teatro Filarmonico di Verona, Polish National Theatre in Warsaw, Royal Opera House Muscat, National Opera in Sofia, Roman ancient theatre in Plovdiv, Teatro Grande di Brescia, Teatro Fraschini di Pavia, Teatro Sociale di Como,Teatro social di Rovigo, Teatro comunale di Ferrara, Seoul arts center, SeJong Art Center, Daegu Opera House, Istanbul Opera Festival and more.
Her repertoire spans a wide range of dramatic roles, including Abigaille in Nabucco, Lady Macbeth in Macbeth, Odabella in Attila, Aida in Aida, Turandot in Turandot, Manon Lescaut in Manon Lescaut, Minnie in La fanciulla del West, Tosca in Tosca, Cio Cio San in Madama Butterfly, Maddalena in Andrea Chénier. These roles were sung at opera houses in La Fenice di Venezia, Filarmonico di Verona, Dubai Opera House, Sofia opera and Ballet, State Theatre Prague, Wielki teatr Narodowa in Warsaw, National Theatre Bucharest, Korea National Opera.
Lilla was a winner of numerous competitions, including the First and Public Prize in the G. Martinelli - A. Pertile Competition and the Second Prize in the Spiros Argiris of Sarzana Competition and First Prize in the Iris Adami Corradetti Competition in Italy.
