Biography

Italian tenor graduated in singing with honors at the Conservatory of Perugia under the guidance of Cinzia Alessandroni. During his studies he attended various Masterclasses such as with Mietta Sighele, Renata Scotto, Veriano Lucchetti, Simone Alaimo and Luciano Pavarotti.
 
Among his recent and future engagements debut in the Weimar Theater as Luigi in the production of Tabarro, debut in the role of Radames (Aida) in the Teatro Coccia (Novara), Calaf debut in the new production of Turandot at the Landestheater Detmold, Casio (Otello) in Kiel, debut at the Teatro San Carlo di Napoli in Il Trovatore as Ruiz opposite Anna Netrebko, Yusif Eyvazov, Luca Salsi and Anita Rachvelishvili, conducted by Maestro M. Armiliato.
 
Between 2016 and 2019 Gabriele he sang Jason in Medea in Nice, debuted the role of Faust in Boito's Mefistofele at the Teatro di Lucca, took part to the production of Giovanna d'Arco at the Festival Verdi in Parma, played Cassio in Otello in Trondheim, sang in Traviata in Glyndebourne, and the role of Pinkerton in Madama Butterfly in Copenhagen, debut at the Teatro Regio in Turin in the production of I Lombardi alla prima Crociata as Arvino under the baton of Maestro Mariotti, sang Macduff in Macbeth in Liège alongside baritone Leo Nucci, and performed in La Bohème in Vilnius and Würzburg as Rodolfo, a role he also performed at the Teatro Carlo Felice in Genoa.
 
Gabriele made his debut an early age he in the opera season of the Teatro Lirico Sperimentale in Spoleto, taking part to the production of Il Trovatore by G. Verdi as Ruiz in 2007. He immediately began an intense concert career both in Italy and abroad. In 2008, he joined La Scuola dell'Opera Italiana at the Teatro Comunale di Bologna.
During following years he debuted in theatres, such as Comunale di Blologna, Teatro lirico di Cagliere, Piacenza, Teramo, Opera Bastille (Paris), Teatri del Cicuito Lombardo, Teatro Comunale Luciano Pavarotti, Teatro Aligheri in Ravenaa and Teatro Valli in Reggio Emilia, also he sang in St. Gallen Festspiele, in Lübeck, Erfurt Festspiele in Germany. During tours of the Teatro Comunale di Bologna he has been to Japan (Biwako Hall and at the Tokyo Bunka Kaikan), National Center For The Performing Art in Beijing, and in São Paulo (Brazil).
 
His repertoire includes such roles as Steuermann in Fliegende Holländer, title role of L’amico Fritz, Perdu in I Shardana, Rinuccio in Gianni Schicchi, Ismaele in Nabucco, Alfredo in La Traviata, Arbace in Idomeneo, Remendado in Carmen, Arbace in Idomeneo, Walter Von der Vogelweide in Tannhäuser, Oronte in I Lombardi alla prima Crociata, Manrico in Il trovatore and the title role of Don Carlo among others.
 
Gabriele has worked with conductors, such as D Oren, Josè Cura, Lorenzo Mariani, F.M. Carminati, S. Quatrini, F.I. Ciampa, M. Mariotti, M. Zanetti, N. Luisotti, A. Fogliani, K.M. Chicon, R. Abbado and with stage diredcors, such as G. Lavia, David Alden and Bob Wilson.
